History… Applecross Periodontics was established in the riverside suburb of Applecross in Perth in 1999 to provide specialist periodontal services to dentists and their patients in a convenient relaxed environment. The practice was established by Dr Jane McCarthy a specialist periodontist with the support of a dedicated team and provides all aspects of periodontal care for a large number of patients. The building was extensively renovated in 1998-1999 with an accent on abundant natural light and a timeless design to maximize patient comfort. The practice of periodontics relies on the attention to detail that the ambient surroundings reflect. Further additions were completed in 2006 to accommodate the growing practice. The response of our patients to the new design has been overwhelmingly positive.

The practice team is made up of our practice manager, office manager, administration assistant, dental assistants and experienced dental hygienists. We endeavour to cater to our patients needs in the most efficient and pleasant way achievable.

Our patients travel from all areas of Perth and rural areas as well from Albany in the south to the mine fields and Kimberley in the north. Located on Canning Highway close to the Kwinana Freeway Applecross Periodontics is well-located for access by public transport and by road.

Operation Hours & Services…

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday and appointments are necessary. Although most patients are referred by other dental professionals for specialist care, it is not essential for a patient to be referred. Anyone with concerns about the health or appearance of their gums can make an appointment directly through telephoning the practice. Implants are also inserted to replace missing teeth for many of our patients. For anxious patients we have an experienced anesthetist regularly providing additional anesthetic services for anxious patients both within the practice itself and in associated day hospitals.
